The mission of the Residence Life Office is to enhance the academic experience and to encourage an inclusive, safe, healthy, and supportive living environment for all Centre College students. Biography

With over 20 years of residence life experience, Jess joined the Centre team in June 2023 as the Director of Residence Life & Housing. Raised in Guys Mills, Pennsylvania, Jess earned her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science & Psychology from Washington & Jefferson College and a Master of Education in College Student Personnel from Ohio University.  Jess oversees all things residence life and housing and supervises the Associate Director of Residence Life & Housing and the Assistant Director of Residence Life & Housing.

Julie Wheeler

Biography

Julie Wheeler joined Centre’s staff in 2014. In 2019, she moved to her current position of Assistant Director of Residence Life and Housing. Julie received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Student Personnel Services from Eastern Kentucky University.

Biography

Michael joined Centre College in 2023.  A Kentucky native, Michael graduated from Berea College and then received his M.S. Degree in Educational Policy and Evaluation from UK.  After working in Residence Life at a variety of schools in Kentucky and then the College of William and Mary in Virginia, Michael returned home to Kentucky.
