2024-2025 Important Dates and Deadlines

 

FALL TERM

September 2: Classes begin.

September 8: Permission to add a class requires instructor’s approval after this date.

September 15: Last day to add or drop a class without a grade entry on the permanent record. Withdrawal from a class after this date will result in a grade of WP or WU. Normally, students cannot drop below full-time enrollment (12 credit hours).

Last day to register for a course on a pass/unsatisfactory basis. Only juniors and seniors are eligible, except in the case of applied music courses. See the pass/unsatisfactory form on CentreNet for other restrictions.

October 18: MIDTERM – Any withdrawal from a course after this date requires approval of the Assistant Dean and will be granted only for unavoidable causes such as illness or death in the family.

November 11-15: Registration for CentreTerm 2025, spring term 2025, and summer term 2025.

December 10: Last Day of Classes.

December 12-18: Final Examinations.

December 20: Final grades due in the Registrar's Office by 12:00 p.m. (Noon).

December 23: Final grades are available to students who have completed assigned Student Reflections on Learning (SROLs) by the last day of classes. 

January 5: Final grades available to all students

 

CENTRETERM

January 6: Classes begin.

January 8: Last day to add a class.

Last day to drop a course without a grade entry on the permanent record. Withdrawal from a course after this date will result in a course grade of WP or WU.

Last day to register for a course on a pass/unsatisfactory basis. Only juniors and seniors are eligible, except in the case of applied music rouses. See the pass/unsatisfactory form on CentreNet for other restrictions.

January 20: Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday

January 28: Last day of classes/final exam day.

January 30: Final grades due in the Registrar’s Office by 4:00 p.m..

January 31:  Final grades are available to students who have completed assigned Student Reflections on Learning (SROLs) by the last day of classes. 

February 4: Final grades available to all students

SPRING TERM

February 5: Classes begin.

February 11: Permission to add a class requires instructor’s approval after this date.

February 18: Last day to add or drop a class without a grade entry on the permanent record. Withdrawal from a class after this date will result in a grade of WP or WU. Normally, students cannot drop below full-time enrollment (12 credit hours, excluding the “convo” hour).

Last day to register for a course on a pass/unsatisfactory basis. Only juniors and seniors are eligible, except in the case of applied music courses. See the pass/unsatisfactory form on CentreNet for other restrictions.

May 25: Commencement

May 27: Final grades due in the Registrar’s Office by 12:00 p.m.(Noon).

May 28: Final grades are available to students who have completed assigned Student Reflections on Learning (SROLs) by the last day of classes. 

June 12: Final grades available to all students

 

SUMMER TERM

May 29: Classes begin.

May 31: Last day to add a class.
