Biography
Ann Goodwin was promoted to Centre’s first-ever Associate Dean for Student Well-Being in July 2022 as part of strategic restructuring to support the success and well-being of Centre students. She retained her role as Director of Counseling. Ann, a Danville native, joined Centre College as a counselor September 2013, assuming the role of Director of Counseling in the fall of 2015.
Ann received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1998 and her Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis in 2003. Ann has previous experience as a mental health counselor at a community mental health center, a rape crisis/domestic violence agency, and an intensive in-home family services program. She has worked for several non-profit agencies and in 2001-2003 served as an international volunteer in Nicaragua. Ann is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
