After Hours Emergency

In the event of an immediate life-threatening crisis, 911 should be called. Provide clear directions to your residence hall.

After Hours Centre Counseling Crisis Line:  859.319.1546

If you or another Centre student require immediate attention for a mental health crisis, after hours or on weekends, call 859.319.1546 to reach the on-call Centre Counselor.

Mental health crises include any situation when a student is threatening suicide or serious self-injury and the risk seems imminent.

What to do in an emergency situation during normal business hours - 8:00am - 4:00pm

             Please state it is an emergency when the telephone is answered.

Note:  Counselors are in sessions most of the day and are usually unable to respond quickly to voicemails or emails.  All during-the-day emergencies are referred to the above protocol and all after-hour emergencies are referred to our crisis line or to other crisis resources.
