Call the Student Health Office at 859-238-5530 to schedule an appointment.  Treatment for minor illness and injury, as well as preventive health services, are available. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. The office is in the Parsons Center for Student Health and Counseling, which is located in Sutcliffe with the entrance at 309 College Street (directly across from the pool entrance). The staff in the student health office are available during regular hours and include an administrative assistant, a Licensed Practical Nurse, a Registered Nurse, and a Physician's Assistant.  Physician Clinics are offered four mornings each week.

Biography

A native of Lincoln County, Kathy joined Student Health in August 2004 as the Registered Nurse. She assumed the role of Director in the fall of 2008. She has a B.S. in Education from Eastern Kentucky University.  Upon completing a degree in nursing from Midway College in 2000, she worked at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center as an RN in the Critical Care Unit and the Emergency Department.

Sharon joined the Student Health staff in October of 2023 as a Certified Medical Assistant.  She has 27 years of experience as a CMA and office manager in a family practice setting.

Biography

Marsha Edelen is the administrative assistant in Student Health. She has been with Centre since 1998. Marsha is available to answer questions about student health care including immunization records, women’s health clinic, doctor’s clinics, travel clinics, and more.

Amanda Goodwin

Biography

Amanda, a Danville native, joined Centre College in August 2008. She attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem North Carolina where she earned her BA in psychology and a minor in French. She then received her MA as a physician assistant from the University of Kentucky. Amanda comes to us from Kentucky Clinic in Adolescent Medicine. She also worked in several emergency rooms as a physician assistant.
