Centre College’s Kappa Nu chapter of the national biological honorary society, Beta Beta Beta, is dedicated to stimulate interest in and promote the investigation of the biological sciences through field trips, invited speakers, and fun activities around and off campus.
Membership criteria is as follows:
Regular members shall be:
- Undergraduate majors in BIO, BMB, BNS, and ENS programs.
- Must be sophomore standing or higher
- Complete at least three term courses in biological science, of which at least one is not an introductory course, with an average grade of B or its equivalent in those biology courses.
Associate members shall be those undergraduates whose interests include the life sciences in some significant way but who are ineligible for regular membership. For example, first year students, only two biology courses, etc. Associate members can upgrade to regular membership once the criteria are fulfilled.
