Centre Bucks is a declining debit account you can deposit into by visiting the cashier at Boles Hall. Once you are funded, simply swipe your card at participating locations both on and off-campus!

What is the difference between Centre Bucks and the Food Flex Dollars?

Food Flex Dollars are part of the meal plan you choose each year. The Food Flex Dollars are added to your card in a separate account and you can use them at the main dining hall (currently Chowan), The Warehouse, or at Sandella's in Sutcliffe Hall.

Centre Bucks are extra dollars you add to you account which can be used to purchase books and other supplies at The Centre Bookstore, use at some of the Pepsi machines on campus (additional ones being added this fall) and this fall you may use your Centre Bucks to do your laundry on campus in many of the residence halls. Full-time students receive $16.50 for printing and copying every fall and spring term. After those dollars are used, you can add more Centre Bucks to your Centre ID Card for printing/copying on campus, too.

Yes- you may not purchase alcohol or cigarettes using Centre Bucks. No exceptions for those over 21 years of age.

What do I do if I have lost my Centre ID card, and I have a remaining balance in Centre Bucks?

If you lose your ID Card you should immediately visit the Student Life Office (or contact Security during evenings and weekends) to cancel the lost card and have another ID card made and have another ID card made. The College cannot reimburse for any purchases made without your permission, so it is imperative that such action be taken as soon as possible. Remaining balances will carry over from year to year until you graduate.
